The Gourmet Galah is a beautiful garden café where you can dine with the birds under shady trees or umbrellas. The king parrots, rosellas, lorikeets, fire tail finches, kookaburras and cockatoos visit us most days. If the days are cooler you can dine inside where you can sit around the log fire with a mug of hot chocolate or a glass of wine or maybe a game of chess. From the dining room you can see the birds feeding and on clear days you can see the ocean over the mountains.
Owners David and Lynne provide quality value meals using fresh regional produce where possible in beautiful relaxed surroundings with jazz playing birds chirping and customers smiling. So come and try his homemade pie, crispy battered fish and chips or award winning scones the Gourmet Galah is also licensed so a glass of Queensland wine with lunch is a must
